Engineer - Full Stack
Apollo's core athlete management system is used daily by coaches, practitioners, and athletes, and keeping it fast, stable, and reliable is critical to how our clients work. We're looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our staff and take ownership of maintaining and improving that system — working across our .NET Core backend and Angular frontend to debug issues, ship fixes, and keep the platform running smoothly in production.
This is not a new-product-development role. We're looking for someone who's energized by working inside an existing, real-world tech stack: improving performance, creating new tests, making the system as easy to use as possible, both internally and externally, and handling deployments with care. If you like understanding how a live system actually behaves and making it better rather than starting from a blank slate, this role is built for you.
Overview
Location: On-site (White Plains, NY)
Type: Full-time
Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features across our .NET Core / C# backend and Angular frontend
- Own site deployments, from code to production
- Write automated tests, including frontend testing (Playwright or similar) and API/endpoint-level testing
- Work directly with SQL databases and Azure Data Lake Studio as part of day-to-day development
- Write Python for scripting, tooling, or data-related tasks as needed
- Integrate with RESTful APIs (ours and third-party)
Requirements
- Experience coding in .NET/C# and Angular (or comparable JS framework)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Experience writing test software, including frontend testing (e.g. Playwright) and API/endpoint testing
- Python experience, preferrably in production
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, regardless of language
- Comfort owning deployments, not just writing code
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Docker, or model deployment tools
- Ability to clearly communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work 40 hours per week, in-office
Our process includes a practical component — we're interested in how you document your engineering work, and we'll ask you to demonstrate improving the performance of a user-facing application.
